What happens here

Once the aluminum pieces are cut and bent to the desired profile, they are ready for installation around the garage door opening. For the vertical side pieces, carefully position them along the side jambs of the garage door frame, ensuring a snug fit. The top piece is then installed horizontally across the top of the door frame, overlapping the side pieces for a neat, weather-tight joint. The video shows the pieces being dry-fitted and adjusted. The trim is typically secured using trim nails or screws, usually concealed or color-matched for a seamless look. A ladder or step stool will be needed to reach the upper sections of the door frame. The trim provides a finished aesthetic and protects the underlying wood framing from weather elements.
