Create an Overspray Dam with Folded Paper and Tape

What happens here

To prevent paint overspray from 'riding' down the wall, fold the masking paper over itself, creating a distinct crease. This fold should project slightly away from the wall. Once the fold is made, take a roll of masking tape and secure the folded paper to the wall. This creates a small 'dam' or barrier that will catch any overspray. Instead of the overspray traveling along the wall or under the paper, it will hit this dam, curl outward, and not contaminate the protected wall area. This technique ensures a clean, overspray-free result on the adjacent wall.
