Controlling overspray with a cardboard shield holder. #overspray #airless #painter

What happens here

Standing on the ladder, securely hold the paint sprayer with a spray wand extension and attach a spray shield (also known as a baffle or deflector) to the end of the wand. Position the spray shield firmly against the adjacent surface that is not being painted (e.g., the house siding or roof shingles) to create a clean, straight edge. Aim the paint sprayer nozzle at the trim or soffit section you wish to paint. Activate the sprayer and apply paint using even, consistent, and overlapping strokes. The video demonstrates spraying horizontally along the trim and soffit, moving the sprayer and shield together to maintain a sharp line. Release the trigger at the end of each stroke to prevent excess paint buildup.

Goal: Apply paint to horizontal trim and soffit sections with clean edges.
