Fine Grading and Backdragging for Smoothness

Clearing Stumps FAST with This Kubota Setup!
What happens here
After the initial debris clearing, the focus shifts to achieving a fine, even grade across the entire area. The skid steer makes repeated passes over the terrain, lowering the land leveler to skim the surface and further redistribute soil. The presenter mentions that he will 'backdrag' every bit of the area, which involves driving forward to collect material and then driving backward with the attachment slightly tilted to spread and smooth the collected soil. This technique helps fill minor depressions and knock down small high spots, creating a very consistent and level surface ideal for planting a hay field. The goal is to prepare a flat, even seedbed.
Goal: Achieve a smooth, level surface suitable for planting.
