Remove Old Tractor Seat

What happens here

To remove the old tractor seat, take a 5/8 inch socket and a ratchet. Locate the two nuts that secure the metal pan of the old seat to the tractor's frame. Use the ratchet to unfasten and remove these two nuts. Once the nuts are removed, the old seat and its metal pan can be lifted off the tractor.

Goal: Detaching the existing seat from the tractor.
