What happens here

After cutting, remove any burrs from the edges of the diamond plate using an angle grinder. Once deburred, begin the polishing process. Apply Mothers Mag & Aluminum Polish directly to the diamond plate. Use a drill with a buffing wheel attachment (a less aggressive wheel first, then a softer finishing wheel) to work the polish into the metal. The polish will turn black as it oxidizes and removes imperfections. Wipe off the black residue with a clean cloth. For a final shine, apply Never-Dull polishing wadding by hand and rub until the desired luster is achieved. This helps pick up any remaining residue and provides a brilliant finish.

Goal: Smooth the edges and polish the diamond plate for a finished look.

And then we're going to polish Yeah. all the fun. It takes two buffing wheels, but look at the results we can get. We can go from this to this. And what we're using is mothers. It's mag and aluminum polish. We just kind of get it lubed up real good inside of here. And then what we do is we just put it over the entire thing. And it's going to turn black. And we want it to turn black because that means it's oxidizing. It's getting the oxidation off. And we got to work it in pretty good. And go both ways with it. That way cuz you got all these little crevices in here. That way you can get it in, you know, as much as you can both ways. This is not the final buffing wheel. In fact, this is the final buffing wheel. After you get it all, you know, you get the black in there, then you hit it with this one, and that's what really makes it polish. So, what we're doing is we're taking all the dirt off. Really flip your egg. See how dirty it is? Mhm. Holy crap. That's just from this one little section. Yeah, it's kind of funny. I'm learning from you guys. I'm learning from you guys. You guys are You got to protect your eyes here. I've made like a half a dozen chainsaw videos without wearing any safety goggles. And now you guys got me wearing safety goggles when I'm polishing aluminum. But actually, thank you. Like I said, I learn from you guys all the time. Okay. So, now we're grabbing another wheel. So, this is the third wheel to do the polishing with this. [Music] Okay, we're getting closer to the final steps. And we use this product called Never Dull. And this kind of shows you what you missed. So, you literally just rip off a chunk and you start scrubbing. And you're gonna see how this is going to pick up all the stuff you left behind. It's gonna Look at that. So, we lit. You guys just seen me buff this out. That is everything we missed. That is how much we missed. It all depends on how much you want to shine to get it this shiny. I mean, you guys can keep going and going and going and I guess you'll get right to where you want it to be eventually, right? Yeah. So, Frankie, you've used this Never Doll before. Yep. on brass is on my on brass stuff. Yeah, it really it just really shine. Brings a shine to the brass. Unbelievable. So, we use mothers for the polish and then the final coat is never dull. And we got a little more elbow work to do and then we'll show you what this one looks like when we're done. Is the other one done, Frankie? Yep. It's right there around…
