What happens here
Drive the ATV with the loaded fencing supplies to the new pasture area. Open and secure any gates needed to access the pasture. Begin unrolling the polybraid wire along the planned pasture boundary. Insert the step-in fence posts into the ground at regular intervals to support the wire and maintain tension. If sections of the polybraid are buried under snow and ice from previous use, carefully pull them free to re-establish the fence line. Secure the pasture gates to control cattle access, particularly away from sensitive areas like the septic field. Once the fence line is fully installed, connect the electric fence energizer to the polybraid wire. The video shows a Starkline SLX-10 model. Attach the energizer's output terminals to the polybraid using the provided clip leads (typically one for the live wire and one for the ground). The energizer is designed to be powered by a car battery (not shown in detail, but mentioned as the power source). Ensure all connections are secure and the energizer is safely positioned to prevent accidental contact.
Goal: Establish a perimeter for the new pasture section using electric fencing.
