Chainsaws, Tight spot, Tough Trees & Heavy equipment - What could go Wrong?
What happens here
After creating the face notch, Franky begins making the 'back cut' on the opposite side of the tree trunk, working towards the notch. Simultaneously, the Bobcat S185 skid steer, equipped with 'the Beak' attachment, is brought close to the tree to apply controlled pressure and help push the tree in the desired direction, away from the shed. Despite careful execution, the tree's natural lean proves challenging, and it ultimately falls, making a slight impact with the corner of the shed. The presenter remarks on the tree being a 'practice tree' for larger, more critical removals.
Goal: Safely fell the tree in the intended direction, away from the shed.
