Gather Ear Tagging Equipment

What happens here

The farmer mentions having a fence crew working, suggesting why his ear-tagging and record-keeping supplies are readily accessible. He explains the purpose of a Y-TEX tagger, which is an ear-tagging machine similar to an ear-piercing apparatus. He demonstrates how the tag (numbered 305 for the fifth calf of the year) is loaded into the tagger, highlighting the sharp pin that pierces the ear and locks the tag in place. The farmer states that ear tagging is crucial for record-keeping and ensuring the correct mother is paired with her calf. He emphasizes that the process is quick and not cruel.

Goal: Prepare the ear tagging tool and tag for the new calf
