Cattle Farming/Ranching: How does a Free Choice Mineral Feeder Work?

What happens here

This project details the construction and implementation of a cafeteria-style free-choice mineral feeder for livestock, specifically cows. The feeder, built from durable materials like oak and a rubber mat, contains multiple compartments for various minerals. The core idea is to allow cows to self-select the minerals they need, which helps address nutrient deficiencies in both the animals and the pasture soil.
