Cattle Farmer shares SHOCKING TRUTH ABOUT BEEF PRICES! Here's how it works!

What happens here

Utilizing the ATV, the farmer drives through a wooded section of the pasture, unreeling the polybraid wire from its reel. He periodically stops to push step-in posts into the ground, securing the wire and creating a temporary fence line to guide the cattle. This process creates a defined path, or 'lane', for the cattle to follow from one grazing area to another.

Goal: Establish temporary fence lines to direct cattle movement.

Tools and materials

  • ATV — Transporting fencing equipment and helping to guide cattle
  • Fence Reel Strainrite — To easily unreel and rewind polybraid wire
  • Polybraid Wire — Creating the temporary electric fence line
  • Step-in Fence Posts — Supporting the polybraid wire to form the fence
