all right meeting with Brian right now we are going to be real ants taping your front yard Brian and so I make sure you got it we're on the same page what we're going to be doing there will be pulling tree one to a tree behind it this tree will be yanking so we got four trees right for these Cedars here whatever you call them a couple of these four or five six Stickley bushes that's my technical term for it right and then we're gonna go over here we're gonna leave the two trees in front those stay I'm gonna be cutting all those bushes down and then we're gonna be pulling that roll that way we're gonna haul all that you guys cut grass I want you to start to think a little bit outside the box and expanding your services this job we're working on today I'm gonna take you step-by-step through it was a $2,400 job and it took us two days to complete with two guys and a minimal amount of materials now you see me running a skid loader right here you don't need a skid loader to pop trees on the ground Keith Cal fast has an amazing video where he shows doing the exact same work with a pickup truck but I want you to understand that this project was done one invoice two days and it would be equal as if I had to cut 60 lawns over the course of a summer the profits are immense because of the skill involved and it really is just a smiler learning curve I want you guys to go and push yourself outside of your comfort zone once you try something new you're going to know how to repeat it over and over and to do it better each and every time okay what you're seeing right here is the edging machine that gets attached to the echo multi-tool I think it's a pas 280 or something like this the more I use this multi-tool the more I absolutely love it then this edging attachment is a really cool thing to create an edger las' garden bed but you can do a lot more with as a viewer a sprinkler company you need to dig in a line now echo recommend you use this tool for this but you can cut a nice even trench you can pop sprinkler lines in you can bury phone lines cable lines anything along those things that wherever you need a clean even trench this thing works amazing I also love the fact that I can pull that thing off the edge end of the tool and pop on a power broom and have one piece of equipment that does a lot of different functions it really helps and it eliminates this crappy black jack edging I absolutely hate Black Jack edging because over the course of years it pops up it sinks it gets damaged so I'm starting to sell all my customers I'm going with an edge ulis system it's what we use in commercial sites and I'm starting to convert my residential customers over and I can do it so much faster especially with this power tool attachment it's really cool if you guys haven't tried one out yet give it a shot and it's worth it the gist of this project was removing the plants we had one trailer load of plants come out at $20 to dump that trailer load of plants two yards of mulch came in that cost us a little bit over $40 the fabric that you see here we do you see the black line we do tape down all our edges and seams and staple in all the corners laid it all out for under $400 we had this job in out with Labor done down the road with $2,000 worth of profit and those know multiple invoicing I don't have to invoice time and time again I know where the customer lives I collect a check immediately I'm not waiting on and build an invoice to come in through the mail if you are in the lawn care business and you're thinking about expanding a project like this is perfect for you guys to look at doing it's a great starter job and has a lot of profit potential and I really want to encourage you guys and gals out there watching things like this to give it a try maybe the first time it won't go so hot but I promise you if you are learning and growing every time you do this you're gonna find a little better way to do it and that's going to improve your bottom line I love you guys I love you guys I want them very best possible for you guys
