Spray Paint Hanging Cabinet Doors (Topcoat)
At 0:00 in
Cabinet door dilemma: spray them hanging… or lay them flat 🎨🪵 Lets settle this. #DIYProjects
What happens here
Begin applying the chosen topcoat color to the cabinet doors that are suspended from the hanging rack system. The video shows a painter in white protective gear spraying white paint onto a hanging door. Hold the HVLP spray gun approximately 6-8 inches from the surface, maintaining a consistent distance and angle. Move the gun in smooth, horizontal passes, overlapping each stroke by about 50% to ensure complete and even coverage. Spray the edges of the door first, followed by the main flat surfaces. Multiple thin coats are preferable to one thick coat to prevent runs and achieve a smoother finish.
Goal: Apply a smooth and even topcoat to hanging cabinet doors.
