Building trails with some awesome tools!
What happens here
Before operating chainsaws and chippers, don appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including a hard hat with a face shield, ear protection, safety gloves, and chainsaw chaps. Start the skid steer (Gehl RT210 is used here) and allow its hydraulic fluid to warm up to operating temperature (around 120°F). While the skid steer is warming up, prepare your battery-powered chainsaws (Echo DCS-2500T top-handled and Milwaukee Fuel 16-inch bar are shown) by checking battery levels and ensuring they are ready for use. These smaller chainsaws are suitable for clearing saplings and brush.
Goal: Ensure all equipment is ready and safety gear is worn.
