Building the House Pad 4K

good morning one and all well it is the start of day two and we've got yesterday was a slow day there ain't no getting around it so let's take a look at what we got to do we do have the driveway blown in and shaped but now we've got to Contour the driveway cuz what we've got is we've got this weird Peak on the driveway and now we need to to create it so it's not such a a hazard for city folks Cates we call them cidiots sorry don't get offended we got to create a driveway and not fall off the edge and hurt themselves on now uh so that means we're going to grade this driveway out and Contour it so if a car comes along it can slow slow down slide off and catch itself before it goes over teac Kettle building pad is about halfway done we do got to finish up the building pad as well and then um we've got to recontour around the shed so that we can grade around that thing so water can stop draining into it yesterday was a big day SL big day we got all the trees done uh so all those are knocked down cut down which is very helpful uh the pile of trees we removed dead dying Widow makers stuff that's been dropped and hanging over each other throughout these woods and never taken care of for so many years but here we go let's get [Music] so this might be cool we're going to take a fast hog pile of dirt down to the bottom of the hill and I'm going to stick you guys up on the tippy top cuz what we do is we take about three bucket FS at a time that's when we turn a skid loader into a [Music] bulldozer there goes a mini excavator down the road somebody's mini Excavating all right let's [Music] go [Music] okay [Music] that's [Music] now [Music] yeah [Music] holy crap that's crazy look at that that is a pine tree but its Central route starts there and it's go straight down that's how these things lived in this Sand Hill so there's the main trunk of it that's just freaking crazy I have never seen a pine tree like that I've never even seen an oak tree with a Central rout that pronounced before wow that's actually pretty cool what do you guys think that's pretty cool so here's where I'm at with things I've got the building pad itself pretty close but I wouldn't mind having it just be a little bit higher uh cuz I'd rather have I've always my personal experience is people set houses too low if you set a house too high you can always grade up to it but if you set it too low you're basically screwed I've seen Builder after Builder doing it so I want to bring that pad up just another 2 in over the entire thing but we've got the driveway cut in and that looks good and this whole area looks good so I think we can hopefully the next phases of this project but let's finesse this pad let's do that [Music] next [Music] he [Music] well I all right guys that's going to call it for this one we've got the building pad set I don't have a laser but thank goodness I got some pretty good eagle eyes so I think we're going to be pretty close we will have to fine-tune it and tweak it I mean hey it is what it is without a laser not going to get it that good got the uh got a a turn around or a drive around around the building done that's graded that looks pretty good cool that actually was a little tricky because that's really sandy soil and I wanted to reuse the black dirt and shmear it around so now I got to seat it but the driveway looks pretty good best that driveway's ever been got it's not my it's not my dream driveway I don't like these straight runs I'd like to add a curve or something fun but it is what it is we had to buy a bunch of fill to bring that up to create that but uh she's looking pretty good but that's it for this one you guys next up we've got to pour a pad got to hookup septic got to hook up electric and then we've got to move a house up this road Road and get it onto that slab so stick around hit that subscribe button and if you guys want to hear the story about the Fiasco I had trying to get this passed through the county and the township let me know in the comments down below cuz it was it was it was it stupid took five months of meeting and planning and lawyers to be able to do this dumbest thing ever but let me know what you if you guys want to it God bless go get them you
