BUILDING A MURPHY BED

What happens here

Measure and cut plywood panels for the main components of the bed platform: the long side rails, the headboard, and the footboard. The dimensions of these pieces are critical and should correspond to the mattress size and the specific Murphy bed hardware kit. These pieces are then partially assembled, typically using pocket holes, wood glue, and screws.

Goal: Cut plywood pieces for the bed platform's side rails, headboard, and footboard, and assemble them.

instructions before getting ahead of yourself [Music] okay so again reverse engineering this whole thing the uh the the legs part when it comes down it has the legs to flip over so we need to create a little radius based on what they have online so i'll take the old paint can trace that sucker around cut that with a jigsaw and i think that should clear that now the rest of the two pieces these are the side rails uh this is the foot part so once i create my little radius cut this will be there and the last thing is this is the the head part basically of the mattress it's 7 inches wide 56 inches both of these and then these are what they're like 76 and a half based off of a full-size
