What happens here

After the wooden frame is fully assembled and the metal bracing is in place, prepare the wood for its final finish. Sand all wooden surfaces thoroughly, starting with a coarser grit sandpaper (e.g., 80-100 grit) to remove any imperfections, glue squeeze-out, or rough spots, then moving to progressively finer grits (e.g., 150-220 grit) for a smooth finish. Once sanding is complete, wipe down all surfaces to remove dust. Apply an outdoor-rated wood stain or sealant to protect the wood from UV damage, moisture, and rot, and to achieve the desired golden-brown hue seen in the finished chair. Follow the product instructions for application and drying times.

Goal: Protect and enhance the appearance of the wooden frame.
