Beauty side down ALWAYS!! #carpentry #shorts

What happens here

For miter saws, the blade rotates downwards, entering the top surface of the material and exiting the bottom. To ensure the cleanest cut on the 'beauty side' and minimize tear-out, always position the board so that the 'beauty side' is against the saw table, allowing any tear-out to occur on the less visible top surface. The video explicitly states and demonstrates this critical orientation: 'Beauty Side DOWN!'.

Goal: Once the 'beauty side' is identified, place the lumber onto the miter saw's table with the 'beauty side' facing downwards. This technique helps prevent tear-out on the most critical surface of the board during the cutting process.
