Barn converted into a home..living in a barndominium!

hey guys it's Josh standing ridge farmer I wanted to take you and show you something really cool this is called a Quonset hut it basically looks like a giant piece of covert pipe but it's been converted into a house I'm going to take you inside show you show you all the amenities pretty rad little place my buddy lives in so let's go check it out [Music] everybody's nice to have it go whoo by the way I don't know if you saw the view off the front porch but pretty nice guys the original Fight Club movie was going to be filmed right here but the punching bag wasn't big enough nice place for a hammock so here we are in the doorway of the closet huh guys and we'll walk on in here and let you see what's going on so inside got couches a couple machine guns nothing you know this is a hunting ranch so this is a the caretakers place hand partner got a little a little shotgun there maybe not a shotgun and here's the bathroom area kind of cool we get some light on in here this kind of little bathroom here kind of neat and inside the Quonset hut basically this was done in the 80s so it's got paneling and stuff inside of it and like a Peugeot type floor so Walker got a cool little kitchen pretty neat little dining area got a bedroom back here say bedroom here and they awesome loft up here so miles this is where Kelsey the the lodge hunting lodge maintainer lives so pretty good yeah cozy spot so living in a Quonset hut you got to think about a few things what do you have to think about the wintertime mr. Kelty how you going to eat the damn thing it gets hot in the summer and cold in the winter does it get hot in the summer is already good okay so you got to heat this place and we have problems with busted pipes so the guy who built this place is really smart here and the pipes on the outside of the insulation pretty cool that really saved a lot of labour time and ripping the wall out and fixing the pipes but anyhow this is a cool little place we want to show you take in here show you this cool little spot got got a bird right here birding a deer and mother deer so yeah so Josh Stoney Ridge farmer will take you outside show you the view we'll get on out here's the view a little bit of America walk out here and this is the high bar homestead beautiful ranch property here in Gillette Wyoming beautiful place guys so guys I really hope you've enjoyed this series here in Gillette Wyoming we probably will have four videos or so out of what went on in Gillette when we went out here we've stayed out on the hunting ranch done a lot of shooting but thanks a lot for watching thanks a lot for coming along with me don't forget to click that like button subscribe subscribe to the booth subscribe to the channel if you like what you see come on back for more and come see me on the Stoney Ridge we're headed back to North Carolina here in just a little while so thanks for watching guys alright laughs earrings we at least needs O'Leary Oh [Music]
