Backyard transformation With Trex Deck and Techo Bloc Patio
What happens here
The project begins with significant site preparation, including excavation and grading of the existing backyard terrain. A mini-skid steer is used to efficiently move earth and establish the desired contours and levels for the new deck and patio areas. Following the rough grading, black landscape fabric is laid down across the prepared sub-base. A thick layer of crushed gravel is then spread over the fabric and thoroughly compacted using a plate compactor, creating a stable, well-drained foundation for the subsequent construction of the deck and patios.
Goal: Clear and grade the site, and install a compacted gravel base for stability and drainage.
