What happens here
To access the downpipe, first, use a floor jack to lift the front of the vehicle. Once lifted, remove the front wheel using a lug nut key. Next, detach and remove the inner fender liner to fully expose the exhaust downpipe and surrounding engine components.
Goal: Gain access to the damaged downpipe
Tools and materials
- Floor Jack — Lifting the vehicle for access to the wheel well
- Inner Fender Liner — The plastic lining that needs to be removed
- Lug Nut Key — Removing the lug nuts from the wheel
- Wheel Weld Racing — The wheel, which is removed to access the fender liner
