folks let's start this vlog by saying I am in no way associated with Klein tools or DeWalt tools these are just a few tools that I use on the farm from day to day and I use in my house and I use in my car and I think they're good tools and I'm going to tell you about them so come on along have some fun hey folks it's Josh Johnny rich farmer welcome to the farm vlog today today is a SuperDuper special day for Stoney Ridge farmer on youtube today YouTube has somehow decided that they're gonna put me on the front page the trending page on the YouTube channel SuperDuper awesome they're promoting me as an up-and-coming star on YouTube I don't even know how to even react to it but thank you so much YouTube Thank You subscribers and thank you for new subscribers that are coming here to the channel we're gonna walk around and I'll show you a little bit around the farm it's wintertime so there's not a lot going on here we'll take you over to the chicken coop take you to the goats see if we've had any new baby goats born today I don't know and then we're going to show you a new tool right here is the old hundred dollar farm truck paid a hundred bucks for this truck it's one of the features in the channel and I've got a cool tool let me grab it and I'll show it to you so I got two of these just to show you can you count one two just to show you and I think it's an essential tool to have in your car in your toolbox in your house in that junk drawer in your house wherever you look this screwdriver this tool will be handy for you so we'll show you that here in just a minute let's take you around the farm show you the chickens show you what's going on and show you how I live a little bit for all you new folks all right come on along let's have some fun [Music] so guys we're walking down from the house here and basically the story goes here at Stoney Ridge Farm we'll give you a basic synopsis here where we're living in the city at Greensboro North Carolina and we moved north of Greensboro close to Virginia we bought 60 acre plot of land and we ended up buying another 90 acre plot and we ended up buying another 40 acre plot so we're buried up to our eyeballs in debt buying this land and buying tractors and getting a start on a farm and we want to take you along and show you what it really means and what it really takes to take a piece of land and make it a successful farm this is buddy and Lexi hey buddy hey Lexi Lexi's a girl German Shepherd and buddy's a boy watch him go yeah get away these are the protectors of our farm now as we walk down here to the chicken coop let me tell you a little bit about my chickens so when we first bought this piece of land all this was wooded not wooded like beautiful forest but wooded like overgrown pines and a bunch of mess we cleaned all that up and we built this chicken coop I've got the chickens and that's my rather magnetic personality rooster I've got the chickens cooped up inside right now because there's a lot of mud in the coop we've had a lot of rain here lately and it's getting all over our eggs so let's check and see if we got any eggs and we'll let the chickens out let them play in the run hey birdies you guys in there do it see if we got any eggs oh yeah so we got a bunch of eggs and guys eggs that come from the store are clean and white but they're not pasteurized as to what you might think eggs are not pasteurized they're washed within rooster they're washed with a bleach solution this is what an egg looks like when it comes out of the chicken it might have a little poop on it we rinse it off that's what we do it's farming let's let these birds out let them play so I built this coop designed thought of and built by me I'll post a link to the video somewhere up here where we built the perfect chicken coop let's open it up and we'll let the birds out hey guys everybody okay so we got this little string right here pull this little string now here our chickens and there's our little chicken run we let them out sometimes we let them run around the garden spot and basically our garden area is right here all around the garden area is probably about a quarter acre and what you see right now is a bunch of wood chips that are on the garden I'm going to till those into the soil these wood chips won't be helping the garden so much this year but in next year and years to come they'll really help the garden on the other side of the garden our honey bee hives we'd like to have honey bees and we have some delicious honey then right behind the honey bee hives is our orchard there's lots of videos if you look back in there about how to plant trees and planting the orchard pretty good time let's go up and check on the goats see if we got a baby goat guys right here is the Stoney Ridge Farm bin look for us out on the highway I'll be on the highways and byways checking out other farms what this channel is all about is getting back to the country getting back to a cleaner way of life a good way of life this is our tobacco barn we're gonna convert it into a cabin so you can come stay on the farm so we're walking up here at the goat pen guys you think they're anticipating my arrival let's see we've got some cute little babies so the normal routine of farm chores here is we come up feed the goats to check on them every morning and every evening if we can't we feed them a little mix of corn and sweet feed and all kinds of yummy stuff and they love it lunch warranty this show may contain goat violence goats are really violent when they watch [Applause] [Music] isn't it nice that you can but your brother when it's time to eat any your folks have trouble keeping your kids quiet while they're eating dinner just hire a goat put them in the table or just let them jump over in the cereal bowl that's what I call the goat chicken we leave a couple chickens up here with the goats so they can scratch out and scratch around and keep the soil turned up and help spread out that goat manure they love it up here so that's kind of the short farm tour that's about two acres of the 200 acres that you see right here behind me pretty big place lots of fun to have we're gonna build a cabin over here on the back side of the farm we've built some roads we're planting fruit trees we're making a wonderful place for our children now let me show you the best screwdriver you'll ever own you'll use this screwdriver more than any screwdriver in your toolbox you'll use it in your house you'll use it in your car you'll use it in your truck I keep it with me anytime I go anywhere and all my vehicles and I keep one in my junk drawer in the house let me show it to you there's two different ones and I'll show you another couple tools while I'm at it so first things first I have a ten and one climb tools multi screwdriver and an 11 in one flying tools multi tip screwdriver now do you need the ten or do you need the eleven well I think that the ten is okay the eleven is the one that I want the eleven has more functionality it has one more bit and I think it's like two bucks more very much worth the price the price point of these things is under $15 we're gonna open the eleven and one I'll post a link down below to every tool that I'm using in this vlog okay I'm also going to show you a cool adapter that can take your old-school Dewalt 18 volt drills with a standard battery right here and there's an adapter kit that you can buy to use the new style battery so this adapter kit takes these new style batteries and the new style so much better you can actually tell how much battery life is left in the battery by pushing the button and they just basically slide it into place here and then this slides in just like the old-style batteries and boom you got it very handy kit I'll post a link down there it's a two battery kit that comes with one of these adapters I just couldn't see myself to run these drills away I made an entire video dedicated to this thing but I thought I'd show it to you again because it's just a tool that I think everyone should have rather than throw away a good drill every tool box should have this screwdriver and every tool box should have a good set of sheers in it like kitchen shears let's see here comes in some nice packaging if you lose the little tips you can order them let's get it out of here included in this is a number one and a number two Phillips a 3/16 and quarter-inch flathead which is over here on this side you basically just slide these things apart a quarter inch drive I think it is yep a quarter inch drive which for a nut drive you can use it for driving nuts into into things here this is the nut drive this is also a nut drive and this is also a nut drive so you have three different sizes on this thing okay now the versatility of the screwdriver is what really makes it awesome it's really what makes it shine and soon you'll understand why I brought the drill out so I've got the screwdriver here are the two separate pieces it snaps together like that it's really really stout it's really robust it says 11 and one on the end there it's stout it's a heavy-duty screwdriver this is what pro electricians use ok now I know there's probably a pro electrician says I never use a multi screwdriver that's fine you don't have to use it I use it and I like it so say I'm out on the farm and I forgot to put my little Chuck in here to use my drill and I need to put a screw in a little bit tighter got a loose screw somewhere might have a little loose screw here so I've got a loose screw somewhere you can take this drill and you can remove any and all of the parts from the screwdriver and use them utilize them in the drill let me show you here let's take it all the way apart take it all the way down set these guys to the side and the screwdriver into the side which can also be used as a breaker bar which is probably not recommended by the factory I can take this drill open up the chug drop it in and now I have a nut driver I also have a different size nut driver I also can put any and all of these attachments in this drill and use them in the drill you can also take any of these tiny little pieces apart and you can take the little bit out of here and use the bit in your drill so this is a this is a Torx you can use this screwdriver as parts for your drill if you're in need and you don't have to grab one of these or if you forget one of these you got backup so in review with this multi-use eleven in one screwdriver by Cline tools which is a quality tool company you have count them one two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven to me it's twelve and thirteen if you use that if you've got a wrench or if you've got something stuck and you need to bend it you can stick it in there and use it as a prying tool guys and gals I keep one of these screwdrivers in every toolbox I own in every truck I own inside the house and on my John Deere Gator that I run around the farm it is a essential tool for everyone to have in their home it eliminates the need for eleven different types of screwdrivers and it's not cheap it's not a low
