ATV / Lawnmower Trailer Inside the bed a truck ?!? - Eliminates having a separate trailer

What happens here

To install "The Ramp Rack," first insert the solid support piece into the truck's hitch receiver. This support is distinct from the main rack and secures it. The system features two lift points (one on each side) strategically centered in the middle of the load, allowing for mechanical assistance (e.g., using a skid steer or gantry hoist) for installation. For electrical functionality, simply plug the rack's standard 4-way flat wiring into the truck's trailer wiring harness.

Goal: Securely attach "The Ramp Rack" to the truck's hitch and connect its electrical system.

Tools and materials

  • 4-way Flat Wiring — Connecting the rack's lights to the truck's electrical system
  • Grease Gun — Lubricating the 4-inch barrel hinges on the tailgate, which are greaseable
  • Skid Steer — Lifting and positioning the heavy rack during installation
  • Solid Support Piece The Ramp Rack — Providing structural support for the rack from the hitch
  • Truck Hitch Receiver — Receiving the main support piece for the rack

Now, this one is a solid state. And once you have this in, now this is not welded up to the rack. This is just a support piece here. Okay? So, um once this is in, then you just set your rack down on top. We've installed two lift points on the rack that are centered in the middle of the load. So you can hook up uh you know a chain a a little gantry crane uh gantry hoist. You can load it with you know 68 guys um if you have that available. We use a skid loader personally. Um and then all you have to do for your wiring is just plug in your standard four-way flat uh wiring into your into your trailer wiring. So these are uh barrel hinges. Um they're 4-in barrel hinges. So they are greasable. They have grease fittings. Okay. They're grease fittings on either end. Um, so those are greasable hinges. Is greasable the same as greasable? Probably. [laughter] So, you know, I got to get those in. Once you have your your support piece in the
