ASK ME ANYTHING! (Q&A)

What happens here

Asked 'How long did it took you to get all your tools and shop set up and how was that process?', the creator explains his gradual process. He used to pick up overtime shifts at the hospital to earn money specifically for tools, avoiding using family savings. He also took on small side gigs, like building cutting boards or cabinets, often for minimal pay, to gain experience and earn money for more tools. Over time, brands started providing him with tools, allowing him to sell his older ones. He estimates the process took a couple of years.

Goal: The creator explains his method of acquiring tools and setting up his shop: working overtime to fund tool purchases and taking on side gigs for experience and tool money.

this is happening how long did it take for you to get all your tools your shop set up uh how was the process the process was i used to pick up overtime shifts at the hospital use that money that therefore i'm not using the family savings money and i would buy one tool at a time then i would take pick up little side gigs build somebody a cutting board build somebody a cabinet or something like that for the pennies on the dollar didn't really pay myself use that money to uh buy the tool and then after a while brands came along and some brands were nice enough to give me some tools and i sold off my old ones so that's kind of usually the progression of it but i think i've been doing this for five years so i guess i would say it took a couple of years to get there
