Measure and Mark Light Placement

What happens here

Carefully use a tape measure to determine the exact position for each light. Mark the center point where each light fixture will be installed. For precise perpendicular marking, a speed square can be used to draw vertical guide lines from the top edge down to the marked center point. Repeat this process for all desired light locations.

Goal: Begin by accurately measuring and marking the desired locations for each recessed light fixture on the side of the outdoor wooden step or deck board. Use a tape measure and a pencil to ensure even spacing and proper alignment.
