What happens here

Following the orbital pattern creation, the worker performs a final pass with the floor squeegee to gently smooth and blend the newly formed patterns. This step helps to achieve a more uniform surface, further integrate the colors, and eliminate any minor ridges or inconsistencies left by the orbital tool, resulting in the desired "glass-like" appearance.

Goal: Achieve a uniform, high-gloss, and smooth metallic epoxy finish.

Tools and materials

  • Floor Squeegee — Final smoothing and blending of the wet epoxy
  • Spiked Shoes — Allowing the applicator to walk on the wet epoxy without leaving footprints or disturbing the finish
