all-hands-on-deck kind of planting
What happens here
Once the layout is finalized, workers proceed to dig individual holes for each new plant using shovels. Each potted plant is then carefully removed from its container, and its roots are gently loosened before being placed into the prepared hole. Soil is backfilled around the plant, ensuring the root ball is at the appropriate depth and the plant is stable. Some dark material, possibly mulch or fresh soil, is also spread around the newly planted areas to enrich the soil and retain moisture.
Goal: Install new plants into the prepared garden bed
