What happens here
Move to ceiling demolition. Using a pry bar and hammer, carefully remove ceiling drywall, working from one section to another. Be mindful of any overhead light fixtures or electrical wiring, ensuring power is cut to these areas beforehand. Once drywall is down, pull out any insulation. Use a reciprocating saw, such as a Ryobi reciprocating saw, to cut and remove ceiling joists or other wooden framing elements that are no longer needed. Ensure to support any structural elements that must remain.
Goal: Remove all ceiling materials, including drywall, insulation, and non-load-bearing framing
