Wait and Knock Down

What happens here

After spraying the texture, wait exactly one minute. This allows the texture droplets to slightly set and firm up before the 'knocking down' process. Once the minute has passed, take a clean drywall knife (also known as a taping knife or joint knife) and lightly drag it across the textured surface. Apply gentle, consistent pressure to flatten the peaks of the texture droplets, creating the characteristic knockdown pattern. Ensure the knife is held at a slight angle to smoothly flatten the texture without removing it completely.
