What happens here

After completing the application of the secondary grey paint to all designated squares (and presumably allowing it to dry sufficiently), the individual proceeds to carefully remove the yellow painter's tape from the wall. Starting from one end, they gently peel off the tape strips, pulling them at a slight angle away from the painted surface. This action reveals the sharp, clean lines of the two-tone checkerboard pattern. The process is continued until all the masking tape is detached from the wall, leaving behind the completed geometric design.
