Integration and Wiring of In-Lights

What happens here
With the holes drilled, the worker begins the installation of the in-lite fixtures. A pre-drilled paver, now housing an in-light, is shown. The worker carefully places the paver into the pathway, ensuring it aligns with the surrounding pavers. Electrical wires, which are typically low-voltage, are then routed. The worker uses a tool (possibly a screwdriver) to tuck the wires neatly into the narrow gaps between the pavers or within the paver bed itself. This ensures the wires are hidden and protected, maintaining a clean and professional appearance. The process is repeated for multiple lights, demonstrating how each light is individually integrated and wired.
Goal: Securely place in-lights into drilled pavers and establish protected electrical connections.
Tools and materials
- In-Lite Paver Lights in-lite — The lighting fixtures installed into the pavers
- Low-Voltage Electrical Wire — Connecting the individual lights to the power source (transformer)
- Pavers — The main hardscape material that houses the lights
- Rubber Mallet — Gently tapping pavers into place to ensure a flush and stable installation without damaging the light fixtures
- Screwdriver — Tucking wires into gaps and potentially for making connections
