(7,829 characters)All right, guys. Well, another blizzard has hit and this one is going to be a little bit different because it started out as rain that froze, turned over to snow, and now it's been hovering right around that warm mark. And all that means is that this snow is going [music] to be heavy wet. We got about 8 9 in of it. So, it may not be the deepest out there, but it's so dense. It's going to be like plowing [music] concrete tonight. These are not the nights I like. just simply because it's so [music] hard on the equipment. You you're limited in how much you can push and then when you finally get to the point where you push something and it stops you, a lot of times the operator will have the tendency to back up and then slam forward trying to barrel through it to get it to its final destination and then that's when [music] stuff snaps. Human nature. Let's just hope that it goes well tonight. This is I don't know about you guys, but if some of you guys are in the snow plowing [music] game, fill me in on this if this is the way you guys feel. But every time I go out, I say a prayer because it's like I just [music] want to get back home without anything breaking and nothing going wrong. It's just seems way it is. And it's not like we're running really old junky equipment. It doesn't make a difference how new or how old it is. It's just luck. best equipment in the world and you can still have a car slam into the back of you when you're crossing a road going from one lot to the other lot or slide into a ditch. It doesn't make a difference how new or how old it is. Stuff still happens. Let's just hope there's no big adventures tonight and we just get through it and [music] we have a good night and we make a good video. That's all they say. All right, so let's get going. >> In a second, you're going to see the ASV come into screen. And what he's doing right there is pushing around the light poles and doing all of the maneuvering so that the big loaders can just do straight run push-ups. [music] Heat up here. [music] Heat. [music] >> right, I call my team. That's my big loader. I think he's waiting for the little one. You guys on your way to Tartan? >> Yeah. >> I'll follow behind you with the flashers on. >> All right. Yeah. I got to be able to road the equipment. I need to get behind him. You guys didn't see that. Didn't look Don't look at the light being pink. So Jay's got the big Hyundai, but we're able to trail behind. We're able to rode it simply because we've got uh the design of the pushers. Huge side wings. It's not as wide. Goes down the road. D. There you go. That's all I had to say. I'll stay here and then we'll go we'll get into the next one. I already seen the Mechac go by. So, this team is um the Mecca AX1000, the Hyundai, the big Hyundai, and then the ASV VT70, which is running right in front of me. So, Jay and the Hyundai has been waiting for the VT70 to make sure he gets to where he's got to go. But, I think he's going to probably take off and let me uh lead this guy to the next site. [music] Heat up here. Here we're inside the big Hyundai loader. And this has got that Arctic Canadian pusher that I was talking about earlier. It's not as wide as the pusher on the Mechac, but the side wings are much deeper. So, this pusher gives us the ability to easily go down the road without compromising any quantity of snow that we may not be able to grab. Meaning, we don't take as wide of a swath, but we're still able to haul a lot of snow with this thing because it contains so much inside of it. Let's just watch it in action. I didn't want to be on camera. [laughter] >> I We ain't talking about what happened. >> Yeah, we ain't talking about Got a haircut for your wedding. >> Yeah, I did. >> Alex is getting married in two days. Where are you going again? >> Ecuador. >> Ecuador, dude. That's going to be awesome. >> South America. It is going to be pretty awesome. So, yeah, I leave Tuesday 4:00 a.m. >> Nice. [snorts] >> Yeah, it's going to be exciting. >> Yeah, that's awesome, dude. That is awesome. >> Yeah, it is. It's going to be a good time. So, >> yeah. You're going to be gone for a week, right? >> 7 days. >> Yeah. >> Yep. And and they probably are going to have us do some hauling out here looking around out here. So, >> yeah. >> Tomorrow during the day, I'll make sure that I give my buddy a call with the rolloffs, make sure he's ready to go and Okay. >> And then we set up some guys that want to get some extra hours. I'm sure we'll be able to come up with five or six alternators. >> Perfect. So, >> yeah. Sounds like a good day then. >> Yeah. All these guys are chopping it to bed for work. >> Are they? >> Oh, yeah. >> I love it. >> Love it. It means I don't have to do it. [laughter] >> He's got some good guys, too. They're all decent operators. >> Yeah. Well, we got Jay back who's awesome. And Marty in the uh Mechakis seems like he knows what he's doing. And >> he's really good. >> Even the new guy in the ASV seems like he's d diving in. Is he a friend of yours or what's the scoop? >> Most of these guys are friends of mine. Yeah. So, except for Marty. I can't remember where I found Marty from, but he's he's been a good guy. >> Thought he was like a boyfriend, a girl, brother-in-law or something like that. >> That's the guy up in uh St. Paul that's on that. >> And the other teams are doing good. Okay. >> Yep. Heat. Heat. just shows black on my side. Is that good? >> Yeah, you're good. I I'm going to pick it up in like 3 minutes. So, just bad drag or do whatever you got to do. >> Sounds good. Thank you. So, I'm watching this with you guys for the very first time. So, as I'm editing this, I'm getting to see how this guy runs this piece of equipment cuz he's a new operator. And as I'm watching him, he's good. But you guys let me know what you think. So, we're watching it together for the first time. New guy, and let's just see how he does. So far, I'm really impressed by his ability to get right tight to those buildings. He's not slamming it fast hard. He's being careful, conscientious, but he's also not going super slow. So, he's got a great rhythm, a great speed. But I'll shut up and you guys, let's just watch together. Yeah, this guy's good. Uh, just the way he can get right up tight to those buildings without touching them. Yeah, he knows what he's doing. That's not easy. He's making this look easier than it actually is. And he's going got the perfect cadence, the perfect rhythm. The wind up here is whipping. This is no This is no lightweight storm. Boy, she started out nice, but then that temperature dropped and this wind came up and reminded us of what makes Minnesota so special. here. Heat. Heat. All right, guys. Thanks for going along for the ride with us tonight. This was team A. And next video, we're going to cover team B. That's the K Cabota, the other loaders. I don't even know what other loaders we've got going. The sledge and uh I don't know, something else, whatever. But we got tons of equipment. So, we'll cover that one in the next video coming out. Hope you guys enjoyed going along for this ride. If there's anything you want to see changed about these videos, let me know. Got a lot of comments to cut out some of the music, keep more of the equipment sounds in, that's what I tried to do on this one. So, if that's what you like, let me know. If you want more music, let me know. But, uh, if you like this mix of mostly equipment sounds, we'll keep this rocking and rolling. God bless and go get them, you guys. We'll see you on another one.
