Wheel & Axle

What happens here

The video demonstrates the wheel and axle by showing a person pushing a wheelbarrow filled with gravel and debris. The large wheel, connected to a central axle, makes it significantly easier to move heavy loads over uneven terrain by reducing friction and distributing the weight. This simple machine allows a small force applied over a larger distance (pushing the handles) to move a heavy load with less effort.

Goal: Demonstrate how a wheel and axle reduces friction and aids in transport.
