What happens here
With the floor decking complete, the pre-built wall frames are now lifted and positioned onto the prepared floor. These frames, typically constructed from 2x4 or 2x6 lumber, consist of studs, top plates, and bottom plates. Each wall frame is carefully aligned, then secured to the floor deck and to adjacent wall frames using framing nails or wood screws. The builder in the video is shown methodically erecting the side walls, followed by the end walls, carefully ensuring each section is plumb (vertically straight) and securely fastened. Temporary bracing, using scrap lumber, may be employed to hold the walls upright and plumb until the entire structure is secured.
Goal: Form the vertical structure of the shed
