5 Harbor Freight tools I Actually Use.

What happens here

The creator showcases Harbor Freight's neon orange dead blow hammers, specifically a 2-pound and a 5-pound version from the Pittsburgh brand. He emphasizes their resilience, stating that even the smaller hammer has withstood significant abuse ('beat to shit') without failing. Dead blow hammers are designed to minimize rebound and transfer maximum impact force, making them ideal for tasks where traditional hammers might damage surfaces or cause excessive bounce. He recommends the 2-pound or 3-pound versions for most common DIY applications, reserving the heavier 5-pound hammer for more demanding tasks like driving fence posts or larger components.

Goal: Effectively apply force to materials without damaging surfaces or experiencing rebound.

Let's hit number three. Now, I think number three on the list, and I know a lot of people can agree with this, I think number three on the list has got to be the dead blow hammer from Harbor Freight, the Pittsburgh one, the neon orange dead blow. They come in one, two, three, four, five pound ones. I got the two and the five here. At first, I only had this one and I beat it to [ __ ] Um, and then I had to do some fence post, picked up the 5B one, and the 5B one has been incredible. I definitely don't use it on smaller things, um, like suspension or whatever, but it's been it's been fantastic for me. I beat this one up. This one has treated me well. It's been beat, battered, torn up, misused, dropped, rained on, hailed on, greased on, anything you can think of. This one's a little cleaner for sure. I definitely recommend the two or three pound one. The five is for some big guys and I don't do that much [ __ ] so I get the smaller one. But I think that concludes the dead blows. That's pretty simple. There's not much to it. Just dead blow. Let's go on to our number two.
