Step 6 · Attach the Door and Finish

After allowing the adhesive to set according to the manufacturer's instructions, you can complete the installation. Most modern plastic access panels have a door that simply snaps into the frame. Align the door with the frame and press firmly around the edges until it clicks into place. Open and close the door a few times to ensure it operates smoothly. If your panel uses screws or hinges, attach them now with a screwdriver. Your access panel is now installed and ready for use.
