Step 5 · Apply Adhesive and Install the Frame
Load a tube of construction adhesive into a caulking gun. Apply a continuous, thin bead of the adhesive to the back of the flange on the access panel frame—this is the part that will make contact with the wall. Carefully insert the frame into the opening and press it firmly and evenly against the wall. Ensure the frame's outer edge is flush with the wall surface. Use a damp rag to immediately wipe away any adhesive that squeezes out.
